The third season of Nexo Knights, subtitled Storm Over Knighton, is preceded by Season 2 and is succeeded by Season 4. The main villain is Monstrox reborn as the Cloud of Monstrox, and the Stone Monsters serve as the villainous group.
Description[]
A storm is brewing over Knighton! A diabolical cloud (the Cloud of Monstrox) has reteamed with Jestro for a new scheme to destroy the kingdom. This time he’s raising an army of lightning-infused stone monsters to collect all of the sector’s Forbidden Powers. Once they are combined, Monstrox will have the power to bring the Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction to life, giving him indestructible power. But don’t count out our heroic Knights. With advanced battle suits and the newly discovered force of combining NEXO Powers, the Knights may have the edge. However, the situation grows dire when Clay discovers he’s gradually turning to stone! Can Merlok 2.0 find a way to save Clay in time… or will another Knight be chosen to lead our fearless team?[1]
